PASTOR

Reverend Monty Jackson, MDiv, believes we must transition from a mindset of hierarchy and dominance to one of community and connection –from kingdom to kinship. In collaboration with the community, he strives to create a transformative environment where people can unite with the divine through music and ministry, nurturing positive change for a better world.

Since 2022 Pastor Monty has been guiding the community to re-envision and re-express our ideals. This has resulted in renewed Mission, Vision and Values and changing our name from Christ Church to Kindred in 2024.

An experienced minister and accomplished professional musician, Pastor Monty has passion for the power of music and liturgy to shape lives and values. To that end, he also leads KinShift Music, a new ministry of Kindred, 

Prior to attending Eden Theological Seminary Pastor Monty was a worship leader in numerous faith communities.

COUNCIL

​Our community is guided by a rotating Council of volunteers, who, along with the Pastor, provide leadership in the implementation of the mission vision and values of the community. The Council is also responsible for stewarding the physical and fiscal resources of the congregation.
