Family

Children and youth are always welcome at Kindred. We incorporate the talents of our youth into our Sunday gathering in a variety of ways.

 

Faith in Action Sunday School, for children 3 and older,  connects us as one kindred people by acknowledging the diverse backgrounds and experiences of all God’s people. The children’s moment and story from the Learning for Justice recommended reading list prepares our young people for the Bible stories of love, justice, and action taught during the Sunday School hour following each week’s children’s moment.

For children who would rather stay with their family during the service, there is an activity table in the back of the sanctuary.

 

As a small community, we support youth individually or in small groups to grow in their journey of faith.
